Bank Teller/Customer Service Rep
Kaw Valley State Bank is looking for a Teller/Customer Service Representative to provide the most efficient, courteous, and professional banking services possible for all customers. This is a Full-Time position located at our CLIFTON branch.
Responsibilities
- Carry out transactions quickly and accurately
- Count back the correct cash during a transaction
- Greet customers
- Have the knowledge to use and look up information in Phoenix
- Count, verify, and prepare money received from the FED to go to the vault
- Roll coins brought in from customers in a timely manner
- Help record and enter the night drop
- Redeem and sell products such as bonds (redeem only), money orders, VISA travel money cards, and VISA gift cards to customers
- Help with safe deposit boxes as well as keep safe deposit box cards updated
- Branch capturing
- Answering phones
- Wire transfers and wire verification
- Help with a variety of customer service roles
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service or cash handling preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
